Since 2023, the Oxygen Stage has been passionately hosted and coordinated by Mystic Sound Records, a label renowned for its captivating soundscapes. Our first foray into the festival in 2023 was a learning experience, a foundation upon which something truly remarkable would be built. The dancefloor, while spirited, was on soft sand, and the stage decor, a flat yogin figure, had potential for more. The sound system, while functional, left room for enhancement. Yet, even then, the essence of Oxygen was clear: a place of peace, music, and community.
From Foundation to Festival-Within-A-Festival: The 2024 Leap
The upgrades that followed for the 2024 edition were nothing short of transformative. It felt like the Oxygen Stage didn’t just evolve; it skipped several levels, jumping from a promising beginning to a fully immersive, «festival-within-a-festival» experience.
The dancefloor was thoughtfully relocated to more solid ground, providing a comfortable and liberating space for movement. A beautiful «roof» decoration not only enhanced the aesthetics but also offered much-needed shade from the radiant sun. The musical journey was meticulously curated with a refined program flow, ensuring a seamless progression of sounds that captivated the soul. The audio experience was elevated dramatically with an upgraded MM acoustics sound system, delivering crisp, powerful, and enveloping sound that resonated deep within.
Perhaps one of the most striking changes was the stage design itself. Crafted by Woodlab, the giant gramophone-inspired stage was a visual masterpiece, captivating audiences both day and night. As darkness fell, mesmerizing video mapping transformed the stage into a living canvas, adding another layer of visual wonder. The vibrant live painting continued to be a beloved activity, with artists creating new works of art right there on the dancefloor. And to top it all off, the Oxygen Stage welcomed serious headliners during the main stage breaks, drawing even more eager festival-goers to its inviting embrace.
